A lifelong artist, dancer and craftsperson, Meg has always had an eye for luxury with a twist. And now she’s created a collection of handbags and accessories made from unusual textures and materials, in designs that move seamlessly with your life and enhance every look.
Meg only works with the finest exotic materials, such as sustainably sourced crocodile, alligator, python, stingray and Amazonian fish. Luxurious shearling and buttery leather are featured. Belts feature found buckles.
Musick-Makely’s career in fashion began as a multi-line sales representative. Years later she launched Rock Musick, a brand of accessories made from recycled vinyl records, album covers and concert Tees. Rock Musick was featured internationally in magazines and television, and boutiques.
While living in the Bay Area, Meg began working with leather apprenticing with a master cobbler. After moving to Chicago, she continued to learn the art of shoemaking. She began to design custom footwear featuring hand stamped lyrics in the soles. Hand stamped belts, shoulder straps and bags followed. Soon after, she began to design the handcrafted luxury bags and accessories that are now MUSICK.
